And here we are. 2021 has arrived after days of binges of panettone (strictly made in Italy), traditional dishes and as many typical banquets with friends and relatives, playing at Mercante in Fiera and bingo until late at night to remind us that Christmas in Hong Kong is nothing more than the classic Italian Christmas, but with a milder temperature!
2020 slipped away not without a sigh of relief for all of us who, in silence, have embraced the new year with great expectations, waiting for it to not disappoint us and to allow us to start traveling again and organize the events that we missed a lot.
But, budgets and hopes aside, last year led us to a greater awareness of what we can do with reduced means, the power of digital and the compactness of a team that shares goals and successes. Therefore, if we have managed to move forward and improve in a period in which no one would have bet a cent, we are sure that this year will give us great satisfaction.
As for the budgets, we are happy of the Family Sales results! This means that our products, in view of the holidays, were appreciated both as a gift and, of course, as a purchase to embellish and make the table more elegant for Christmas.
The new year was inaugurated with the confirmation of two new projects that consecrate Tablo as the absolute protagonist of horeca. In fact, both Andaz in Shenzhen Bay and Carlyle & Co. have chosen us as their exclusive tableware and homeware suppliers for these elegant and luxury projects that will see the light in the coming months.

Andaz is a significant addition to Hyatt’s growing portfolio in Shenzhen and it is located in Shenzhen Bay, the rapidly growing commercial district, home to offices for 80 Fortune 500 companies. Created by acclaimed New York designer Tony Chi, Andaz Shenzhen Bay has been conceived for like-minded people to meet and stimulate their senses with design elements inspired the distinct spirit. There will be 220 spacious guestrooms overlooking the breathtaking Shenzhen Bay, the Shenzhen Sports Center or the China Resources Headquarters. Each room is between 538 to 2,690 square feet (50 to 250 square meters) and decorated with a soothing mix of duck-egg blue plantation shutters and Calacatta Luccicoso-style marble. Led by Argentinian Executive Chef Federico Heinzmann, Andaz Shenzhen Bay offers five restaurants and bars. Chef Heinzmann, who has previously worked at Park Hyatt Tokyo and Park Hyatt Seoul, aims to create a culinary adventure through authentic native ingredients and flavors. The restaurants adhere to the brand’s ‘farm-to-table’ philosophy of offering fresh, seasonal, local produce, while accompanying wine lists offer the best from boutique vintners. Each bar infuses freshly squeezed, seasonal fruit and herbs within their neighborhood-inspired cocktails, while guests are encouraged to ‘make their own’ if they wish. 
On the other hand, Carlyle and Co. is a private members’ club that takes its inspiration from the Manhattan hotel’s magic and will be launching in Hong Kong with the intention of becoming an international brand.
