Zafferano FAQ
It can be recharged by contact, by placing the lamp on a charging base (like a cordless phone). The base, cable and charging plug are supplied with the lamp.
It can be recharged by connecting a cable to the Micro-USB port at the top of the lamp. The base, cable and charging plug are supplied with the lamp.
You can recharge the lamp while it is still emitting light, but we recommend recharging it when the battery has a residual autonomy of approximately 20-30%: in this way, the charging cycles are always complete. The models in the Sister Light and Pencil collections have control electronics that use a visual signal to indicate when it is time to recharge the product.
This function allows for optimised recharging and preserving batteries in the best possible way. The remaining collections are to be recharged when the light emitted is dim or inadequate.
Recharging a lamp at 0% or 100% battery power may, in the long term, damage the cells and therefore require premature replacement of the battery pack.
The Poldina, Dama, Pina, Poldina XXL, Ofelia, Olivia and Olimpia models do not indicate when it is the correct time for recharging. However, the lamp must be recharged after 6-8 hours of use or when, set at 100% luminous flux, the light fades on its own.
The Sister Light and Pencil models have control electronics that also include battery status monitoring, providing a visual indication of when the batteries are running low and when they are completely flat.
We recommend disconnecting the lamp from the power supply when the LED is green, indicating that it is fully charged. However, the lamp can remain connected to the power cable even if the light turns green. When the battery is charged, the power supply is automatically cut off. If the lamp is switched on, the "current coming in through the power cable" powers the light source "directly" without using the batteries.
The batteries last about 9 hours at maximum power, and recharge in 6 hours.
The standard battery life is approximately 450 recharges. Battery life may be reduced by certain factors such as:
Incorrect recharging mode (the lamp must be recharged when it is flat: about 10% of its residual autonomy);long periods of standing without being used; When left standing on a live charging base even if the lamp is recharged; When non-original accessories are used for recharging; When the product is exposed to very high or very low temperatures.
Zafferano rechargeable lamps are all provided with a rechargeable and replaceable lithium battery. When the lamps no longer recharge or their autonomy after recharging is much reduced, the batteries must be replaced. To replace the battery, please watch the tutorial on the Zafferano YouTube channel. The lamp is protected by a warranty, in accordance with the law; the warranty does not cover the batteries.
You can currently buy a new battery from the retailer where you bought your Poldina.
You can buy a replacement stem and base for Poldina.
At the same time, you need to send an e-mail to info@tablo.hk, specifying the order number and the 8-digit product code located under the base of the lamp.
It depends on the model. Portable lamps emit a light beam ranging from 144-150 lm to 1700 lm. The larger the lamp, the more intense its luminous flux. The Poldina Pro lamp emits a luminous flux of 188 lm. Table, wall, peg and pendant lamps cover the lower range (from 144-150 lm to 270 lm); floor lamps range from 370-400 lm to 510 lm; the Pencil collection ranges from 530 lm to 1700 lm. Data on light emission can be found on the technical data sheet, which can be downloaded from the website page for each model.
Both lamps are suitable. Poldina Pro Mini is lower (30 cm) and has a colour temperature of 2700 K. It is slightly more neutral than Poldina Pro, which is higher (38 cm) and has a colour temperature of 3000 K (both emit a warm light). Poldina Mini is perceptibly more compact, but it is a matter of personal taste with regard to which size lamp you like best.
In Hong Kong, everything is guaranteed for one year.
Yes, all Poldina models are suitable for outdoor space except those models with copper, gold and silver leaves decoration.
Other FAQ
Over time, sterling silver which is exposed to air will begin to tarnish. That’s because the other metals used to create a silver
alloy, particularly copper, react to sulfur and moisture in the air, causing the metal to tarnish. Areas of high air pollution and humidity will lead to faster tarnishing, and certain chemicals can speed up the process.
If you want to prevent your silver
from tarnishing, follow a few simple steps:
 * Clean your sterling silver regularly with a soft, dry polishing cloth, especially before you store it.
* Store your clean, dry sterling silver in airtight containers, such as Tupperware or a Ziploc bag, depending on the size.
* Anti-tarnish strips within the airtight bag or container can help to absorb elements that cause tarnish,
* Never leave sterling silver in high-moisture areas unprotected.
To polish your silver, use a well-known and safe silver polish like Twinkle Silver Polish, Wright’s Silver Polish, or Goddard’s Long Shine Silver Polish. These products are proven to be gentle, while other options might be abrasive and can scratch your pieces. Be sure to wash your silver before applying it, and then follow the directions as stated on the polish container. Ensure that your pieces are dried thoroughly
before storage to prevent tarnish.
Sterling silver is a silver alloy that consists of 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% of other metals – usually copper.
The numbers “925” or “.925” marked on silver is an indication that the piece is made of sterling silver. Pure silver is too soft to be shaped into everyday items, so the sterling silver alloy was developed to create silver items that can retain their shape.
Stonewashed flatware is quite literally washed with stones. The flatware is distressed with tumbler stones that act as tiny files on the metal. These tiny files cause an irregular pattern of abrasions, which lead to uniqueness. No two pieces of
stonewash flatware are the same. The result is a distressed, rustic appearance that can bring vintage charm to any tabletop.
Every imperfection of a handmade product is a typical characteristic due to the manufacturing process.
Some colored items like water tumblers (Perle, Iroko,
Multicolor…) have the color in the mass so they will not fade even after many years. For gold rim or gold decoration, it’s better you hand wash the product or use a delicate program on your dish washer.
Since Ultralight is hand made in lead-free crystal, you need to hand wash them.
Borosilicate glass is a type of glass with silica and boron trioxide as the main glass-forming constituents. Such glass is subjected to less thermal stress and can withstand temperature differentials without fracturing of about 165 °C. All our Borosilicate items are designed in Italy and Made in China.

This warranty is reserved to private Consumers (an individual who purchases goods for purposes not related to his/her professional activity). In case of defects, Tablo shall, at no cost to the Customer, replace the defective product or terminate the agreement.
Replacements in case non-functioning products at delivery (Dead On Arrival - DOA) occur only if expressly provided by the manufacturer. The timeframes for the replacement or any repair of products depend solely on the policies of the manufacturer.
In the event, for whatever reason, Tablo is unable to return to its Customers a product under warranty (repaired or replaced), it shall have the right at its own discretion to refund the entire purchase amount paid or to replace the product with a product of equal or better characteristics.
No claim for damages can be made to Tablo for any delays in replacements.
Whenever the warranty calls for the return of the product, the purchased product must be returned by the Customer inside its original package, complete in all its parts (including packaging and any documentation and equipment: manuals, accessories etc.); to limit damages to the original package, we recommend, whenever possible, to insert it inside a second box; no labels or adhesive tape must be applied directly on the original packaging of the product.
Ceramic is an inorganic material made from clay by the process of heating and solidifying. Porcelain is also made from clay but at a higher temperature than ceramics. Normally a higher temperature of 2600 degree Fahrenheit is applied when making Porcelain. Ceramic is opaque whereas porcelain is translucent. Porcelain has a fine and smooth surface, which is said to resemble the smoothness of an eggshell, and the material is thinner than ceramics. Porcelain also has a slightly whiter and delicate appearance than ceramics
