Coltellerie Berti debuts Nakiri and Santoku knives in South Korea this January
SEOUL / SCARPERIA E SAN PIERO (FI), ITALY, January 2026. Coltellerie Berti, the Italian cutlery house crafting handmade knives since 1895, is set to launch in South Korea this January with two Japanese-style kitchen essentials: the Nakiri and Santoku knives.
Designed for modern home cooks and professional kitchens alike, the Nakiri features a smooth blade profile suited to fast, clean vegetable prep, while the Santoku delivers all-purpose versatility for everyday slicing and prep tasks. Both models come from Berti’s Japanese-inspired lineup within the Duemiladodici Collection.
Each knife is made in Italy at Scarperia e San Pietro (Florence) with a maker-led process, where the craftsman completes the piece and marks it with their initials.
